SEO is nothing, but it is just a way of optimizing your website or blog for search engines so that the search engine can understand and find your website and content of your website easily. There is nothing illegal in using SEO for your website.

Use of good SEO tips is as important as writing good content and posts. So many bloggers have very good content and so many good posts on their websites but due to bad optimization of a website for search engines and not using good SEO tips they are not getting good traffic on their websites.

So in this article, we’ll talk about some best SEO tips for beginners. These are the basic but most important SEO tips for every website owner and blogger even if they are pro blogger or beginner.

1. Keywords planning

Keyword planning is the most important SEO tip for every website. You need to use more and most relevant keywords in your post and blogs. Good keywords help search engines to understand your post and blogs.

Whenever someone tries to search anything on the search engine they use keywords like “how to make Maggie?”, “who is Narendra Modi?”, “top five tips” etc. We, humans, are not much different, and so most of us tend to search the same things in same ways.

So you can use most used and searched keywords on your website. There so many keyword planners are available which you can use to find most searched keywords for your blog and website. Google keyword planner is the most powerful and helpful keyword planner tool and so many professional bloggers are using it to get the most relevant and most searched keywords for their websites. If you don’t like google keyword planner then you can also use other paid keyword planner which will give you some more information about keywords frequency, keywords values, and CPC rates, region wise keyword planning and other things.

Use relevant keywords on your website description, Blog title, headings, meta description, meta tags, blog description, category, page titles, and post content.

2. Use specific niche and one topic

First of all, you have to decide and choose one specific niche means topic for your website which about you can write and post good content. You can choose any topic in which you have good knowledge and you post good content. For example, if you are interested in technology then choose technology as your main topic. In a technical website, you can also post other tech-related blogs.

The benefit of using a specific niche is that you can write good content. And whenever you search anything on Google then Google will give you results from those websites which are specific about that topic. For example, whenever you search anything about headphones and earphones google will give you results from www.headphonezone.in.

3. Links to your own blogs and posts

If you have already posted something and if it needs to be written again or if you want to tell your readers about it then post a link to that topic on your blog. Internal links help search engines to find your contents and posts because of links.

Try to put maximum and relevant links on your posts. Internal links also help your readers to find the relative content of your website.

4. Use a permalink structure that includes keywords and categories

Some website uses a bad permalink structure which includes some random numbers and symbols to identify your posts and blogs. For example “https://yoursite.com/?p=12”.

This bad for SEO because good permalinks also help search engines to identify your content. So instead of using this type of bad and random permalink, use permalinks which contains categories, text, and title of your post. For example “https://visionofgeek.com/buying-guide/top-best-earphones-1000/”.

5. Loading time of your website

Loading time of a website is a most important factor for SEO. Slow loading can your harm your website and also affect your ranking on search engines. Your website should not take more than 5 or 7 seconds to load pages and posts.

Remove unwanted things from your website which slow-down your website. You can remove unwanted plugins, widgets, large images, other music, and video files to make your website fast.

It is also important to choose good hosting providers. Some bad hosting companies are not providing good speed which will affect your website in a bad way. So if you are getting more traffic then choose individual server rather than choosing shared hosting.

6. Use H1, H2, H3 titles and tags

First of all, H1 title is just text surrounded by <h1></h1> tags. H1 heading is a most important factor which search engines are using to identify your content. You can use H1 tags for titles in your blogs. But also keep in mind that don’t overuse it because when you use it unnecessarily then the search engine will consider it as spam.

For sub-heading in your posts, you can use H2 and H3 tags which also helps search engines. So instead of just using text in your post try to use H1, H2 and H3 tags.

7. Create a sitemap and tell search engines about it

A sitemap is a list of all links of your pages, posts which can be accessible by search engine crawlers. Sitemap helps search engines to find the contents of your website. Sitemaps are usually written in XML, But if you don’t know any XML language then you can use other third-party tools to create an XML sitemap for your website. If you are using WordPress then simply just install Google XML Sitemaps plugin to create a sitemap. Now after creating a sitemap of your website you can submit it to google search console.

8. Get backlinks to your website

Backlinks are the most helpful factor in Google search engine to get high ranking. Backlinks are the links coming from other websites to your websites. The more backlinks you get the more high ranking you get. You can put backlinks to relative contents of other websites.

Getting backlinks is not that easy as well because you have to work hard and make good relation with other bloggers and website owners. If your content is good and helpful then other peoples are willing to put backlinks to your website. And if you get backlinks from trusted websites then Google will trust you more and your website will get good ranking.

Don’t try to get backlinks from non-relevant and low-quality websites. Some SEO companies claim that they will help you to get backlinks to your website. But don’t do that because their network of websites is very low quality and it will affect your website in a bad way.

So rather than getting spam and paid backlinks, try to get organic backlinks by writing good articles and making good relation with other bloggers. You can also be a guest author on other websites to get backlinks.

9. Image Optimization

Images optimization is also necessary for good SEO. So try to put keywords in image descriptions. Rather than using default random image name like “image.jpg or jhto1.png” give them a perfect name. You can add the name of your blog title to the image name and descriptions. Use Alt text attributes to describe your image.

Big image files will slow down your website. So try to use small images and don’t overuse image unnecessarily.

10. Write like a human

None of the above will work if you create content that sounds like a robot wrote it. Because search engines don’t like that kind of contents. Nowadays, search engines are very powerful and they can easily identify content written by robots.

You can write your contents in very simple languages so that readers can understand it easily. Don’t use more heavy words in your blogs because if readers will not understand it then they will move to another website.

You can start writing blogs and then day by day you can enhance your writing skills.
